The Higgins Room (I & II) is Calcasieu’s largest room. In
contrast to the earthen materials of the building, deli-
cate, scrim-like fabric is draped throughout the Higgins
Room offering the option of a more intimate dining ex-
perience in partition the room into two separate spaces.
If on the other hand more space is needed, Higgins
opens up to the adjacent Tchoupitoulas Room.
Capacities:
The entire Higgins Room seats up to 110 guests and
accommodates up to 125 guests for a cocktail reception.
Partitioned into Higgins Room I and Higgins Room II,
each space seats up to 40 guests. Higgins and Tchoupitoulas Rooms combined accommodate up to 160 guests for a seated meal, up to 200 guests for receptions. The style of event determines capacities of each room.
